Vintage Jet & Assorted Beads
| 19th Century Vintage Beads
Found in a Paris basement, these beads are available in limited quantities. Once our source
of French black jet is exhausted they will be unavailable in the US..
These glass beads were used to embellish gowns for Queen Victoria's royal court
by famous Parisian Couturiers between 1890 through 1920. Origin of the beads:
Belgium, Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
Black jet was difficult to secure in France during the Victorian Era, therefore Black Jet glass beads were made in Germany for French gowns. Primarily Black jet embellished mourning apparel. Our stock is vanishing so order Now!
